Native Americans

Why did I choose to talk about Native Americans...me a European? As long as I can remember, I have always been attracted by their culture. I think we may learn a lot from them.

*White race* has always thought that it was the most intelligent, the most spiritual, the most...etc. It seems that we have not understood that way of thinking has not been working for us at all

Conditions of living for Native Americans are unbearable, even if Ithink they are responsible too. I don't want to perceive them as victims but I believe that there is an urge for us to understand what is going on.

It seems that media is blocking out the information. Why?... my understanding of this is that American government would like to eradicate the Native people. Doing that, they would in the same time erase a part of American history of which they are not very "proud" of.

I am not criticizing a nation here. I am a Belgian citizen and Belgium has been quite a colonizer and its relationship with the "Congo" is not something we as Belgians can be proud of either.

I only want to point out a way of being which will lead us to destruction if we don't become "aware".

"No one can deny that a network (a world network) of economic and psychic affiliations is being woven at ever increasing speed which envelops and constantly penetrates more deeply within each of us. With every day that passes it becomes a little more impossible for us to act or think otherwise than collectively."
